spent a few hours at the baltimore aquarium...it’s pretty nicely designed and it’s gigantic.

in this section, the lower you go the darker it gets and the more creepy the fish get. like i’m talking giant, weird looking blood thirsty sharks. i walked very quickly through this part as i have no tolerance for such creatures. (yes i was scared).

things like this really gross me out.

beautifully designed train station in maryland.

amtrak has to be one of the most comfortable modes of transportations out there. and there’s something about long train rides that i really love. everything feels really cinematic. it’s like watching a really good music video that never ends.

went down to dumbo in brooklyn to check out the new york city photo festival. dumbo is such a great neighborhood. i always feel like i’m in a small town. even to the point where i actually run into people i know - like the girl in the red sweater for example. that’s tanya. we went to photo school together in calgary!

the portraiture show curated by getty images was great.

yes those are pigs.

after years of saving up my pennies i finally bought the camera i’ve always wanted. the mamiya 7II - a medium format rangefinder. here a few test shots(including the one above of caroline) along with some experimentation with the ‘multiple exposure’feature.

HERE ARE SOME PHOTOS OF MY DAILY LIFE. ENJOY.
i had to go down to maryland to shoot a portrait for seed magazine. i’ve always wanted to go to baltimore (because i love the song ‘baltimore’ by nina simone) so i took the amtrak train there and spent a bit of time checking things out. there are some photos from the baltimore aquarium, as well as the new york photo festival in dumbo, and a few test shots from my new mamiya 7II !!!
